CNESST Communications in French Only

As a government agency, the CNESST is required to comply with the rules of the Office québécois de la langue française. Under those rules, all communications with employers, suppliers and partners must be in French only, unless the head office of those parties is located outside Québec.

That's why the CNESST communicates with employers, suppliers and partners solely in French. Since 2010, employers also have access to a French-only menu as part of the CNESST's interactive voice response telephone service.
