Le Thiram® est principalement utilisé comme fongicide pour faire des traitements à large spectre de semences. Il se trouve dans un grand nombre de cultures comme des fruits, des légumes et des céréales.

Il peut aussi être utilisé:

  • comme répulsif pour certains mammifères comme les souris ou les rats
  • pour la vulcanisation du caoutchouc
  • en tant qu'additif pour des huiles lubrifiantes
